About Emily F. Peters
Emily F. Peters is the founder and CEO of the award-winning healthcare brand strategy studio, Uncommon Bold, and creative director of Procedure Press. She began her healthcare technology career as part of the founding teams of digital health startups Practice Fusion and Doximity. As a survivor of a near-fatal amniotic fluid embolism in childbirth, she became an international advocate for maternal health blood donation.
She lives in San Francisco with her husband, daughter, and pink poodle, Benny. Emily is the author of the critically acclaimed books Women Remaking Medicine (2019) and Artists Remaking Medicine (2023).
